A marriage is a lifelong commitment made to between a man and a woman. Weddings are joyful events, meant to be followed by a life of love, fidelity and companionship between the husband and wife. This can only be true if entered into “reverently, discreetly, soberly, and in the fear of God.” Before I participate in such a monumental lifelong commitment, I need to believe that the couple will succeed in their marriage. Therefore, I will need to meet with the couple shortly after they set the date for their wedding, and several successive times for pre-marriage counseling, as needed. If you want to be married at the New Life Assembly of God, or if you want me (Pastor Taylor) to officiate, here’s what you need to do:
- Set the date for your wedding.
- Get a copy of the Marriage Information Packet.
- Secure the church or other location.
- Get a copy of the Facilities Use Agreement for New Life Assembly. (link to be activated soon)
- Call New Life Assembly of God to make an appointment to see me.
