One of the most vital services a church can supply for a visiting young family is an attended nursery. Our nursery is staffed with two adult women who have been carefully screened and who love babies and toddlers. To create a consistent, safe and warm environment for your children, we ask that parents observe these guidelines:
-
The age limit is birth through three years old.
-
When you sign in, please take a Nursery Alert Number. If your child needs you, this number will be displayed on the projection screen.
-
Please do not come in to check on your child, as this can disrupt the entire nursery. However, nursing mothers may come in at feeding time.
-
Please bring a sufficient number of diapers and other supplies needed for your child. Label your child’s belongings.
-
After the service, please pick up your child promptly and return the Nursery Alert Number . Do not send a child to pick up your child. Let the attendant know if another adult will come for your child.
-
If your child is ill (fever, diarrhea, vomiting) please do not bring him/her to the nursery. This is for the health and protection of your child.
-
Our attendants do not yell or spank the children. We do, however, us a time-out chair for discipline when necessary and age appropriate, or in some cases, we may ask the parents to keep their children with them during Sunday School or Church Services.
