Ministry Placement
When people come to New Life Assembly of God, first impressions may influence them to make our church their church home. However, first impressions are not enough... every church needs to supply people with three things:

Spiritual nourishment,
-
Meaningful friendships, and
-
Something significant to do.
Pathway to Involvement
Every ministry has a defined pathway for involvement with leadership committed to it. When there is an opening, the following are the steps people who are new to New Life Assembly of God, take these steps to get involved:

Make Friends: Ministry is more effective in the context of established relationships. Take time to be connected with the people of the church.

Giftings and Ability: Even in areas where you are gifted, you will need to grow to a sufficient level of ability to carry out the ministry which interests you.

Application: Some ministries require an application process that includes a criminal background check. We consider this to be a moral obligation we owe to the people we serve.

Equipping: Most ministries also have a job description and training or orientation requirements.

Commissioning: 1 Timothy 5:22 (NIV) Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands... The public commissioning for ministry gives the people of our church a measure of confidence that you are ready for this responsibility.
