There is approximately 20,000 people who live in the Kern River Valley, either in a rural area or one of the ten towns surrounding Lake Isabella. There are so many natural wonders and blessing that enrich our lives: the lake, the river, fishing, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, camping, four wheeling, the Audubon Kern River Preserve, several parks, a new BMX track, many seasonal community events and so much more. Of course, the best part of living here, is the people.
Still, there are needs, and even a good community can be made better. The people of New Life Assembly of God want to do our part in making people’s lives better. The links associated with this page will take you to descriptions of some of the things we are presently or planning to do in the future. But this page is dedicated to asking you what you think is really needed in this community and how do you think a church might be able to address that need. Help us by giving your opinion.
