Growing up can be hard on a child’s self-esteem.  They say it takes 8 positive experiences to offset just one negative word or experience.  It is clear that a boy or girl needs many people in their lives who will build them up and serve as a positive force and example.  That’s what My Fishing Buddy is for… to give godly, positive people the opportunity to build up boys and girls… to offer positive life experiences… to provide a meaningful and wholesome activity… and to give them a hobby they can take pride in.  It is especially for:

• boys or girls 15 years old or younger.
• especially the fatherless (without a resident father) and needing the influence of a godly father figure or big brother.
• when space is available, any minor child is welcome.

This is a service available during the summer while the kids are out of school.  Plans for the summer of 2012, include fishing adventures on Thursday mornings from 7:00am till 10:00am, are being made.  The exact dates in June  through August will be announced before the end of the school year.
